New Aehra Sedan teased for the first time
All-electric car maker Aehra will unveil its second model on 16 June
We’ve already seen Aehra’s first pure-electric car - an SUV - which bears the same name as the company, but it’ll soon be time for the firm’s saloon alternative.
Like the SUV, it won’t have a name with Aehra referring to it as a ‘Sedan’, but the Italian company has now released its first teaser images of the car and it certainly sports plenty of the design language seen on the SUV.
Aehra itself says the Sedan features a tapered rear end, a ‘liquid-like side profile’ and a dynamic front. The shadowy images of the car show a few design details already seen on the SUV, such as the thin headlight arrangement, aero-optimised digital wing mirrors and wide rear haunches.
The drag coefficient of the SUV stands at an impressive 0.21, but with the lower profile of the Sedan it could better the ultra-slippery Mercedes EQS at 0.20.
Aehra hasn’t talked about the Sedan’s powertrain, but it’ll almost certainly receive the same set-up as the SUV. Recently, the firm said it had agreed a partnership with Austrian car battery supplier Miba and it was looking for a capacity of 120kW.
A range of 497 miles has been targeted for the SUV - which would surely be surpassed by the Sedan model. Performance should improve too, with it probably receiving the same 805bhp triple-motor set up.
The Aehra Sedan will be fully unveiled at Milan’s Monza Motor Show in June. First customer deliveries of both the SUV and Sedan are expected to start from 2026.
