New Isuzu D-Max Centurion pick-up marks 100 years of Japanese brand's operations; pick-up comes with £11,000-worth of optional extras
Isuzu's new, top-of-the-range D-Max Centurion pick-up truck has made its public debut at the 2016 Commercial Vehicle show at the Birmingham NEC. Priced from £30,995 (excluding VAT), 100 examples of the limited-run Centurion were brought to the UK market when it went on sale on 9 April - the 100th day of the year.
Isuzu is celebrating 100 years since it first set up shop in Tokyo, and the special D-Max is suitably equipped for the occasion.

Exterior tweaks include 19-inch black and silver 'Hurricane' alloys fitted with Pirelli Scorpion Zero tyres, front side and rear skirts, stainless steel side bars and silver roof bars. A chunky 'Alpha Sports' tonneau cover is also added, with remote locking and eye-catching buttresses. LED daytime running lamps complete the look.
Inside, you'll find a Centurion leather trim upgrade, illuminated door guards, and a branded loadbed rug. An Alpine eight-inch touchscreen entertainment system brings six speakers, an active subwoofer and a rear-view camera, while rear-seat passengers can enjoy a ceiling mounted 10.2-inch monitor with a DVD player and two wireless headphones.
The Isuzu D-Max is unchanged mechanically, with the same 2.5-litre twin-turbo diesel producing 161bhp and 400Nm of torque. It also retains a five-year, 125,000 mile warranty as standard.
