Entry-level Dodge Dart saloon is back and based on the Alfa Romeo Giulietta
The Dodge Dart is back, and the famous name from the sixties now has some Italian blood running through its veins..
Working with sister company Alfa Romeo, designers have based the Dart on a modified Giulietta platform to create a compact saloon model that shares the stylish wraparound tail-lights of the flagship Dodge Charger.

Power will come from three fuel-efficient, four-cylinder petrol engines: the 1.4-litre MultiAir from Fiat’s 500 Abarth, a 2.0 petrol and a 2.4 MultiAir. A six-speed manual gearbox comes as standard, but a nine-speed automatic is reportedly on the way.
The Dart will hit the US in 2013, but there is no UK on-sale date at present. Prices have yet to be announced.
