Chevrolet Camaro gets new range of options for SEMA
Two special editions at SEMA tuning show showcase customisation options on Chevy's new Ford Mustang rival
The US customisation show, SEMA, is to host two new concept cars based on the sixth-generation Chevrolet Camaro.
The two cars, Red Accent and Black Accent, will unveil new alloy wheel options, styling kits, exterior graphics, interior trim options and performance enhancing tech - from exhausts upgrades to lowered suspension and performance air intakes. Chevy says its new Ford Mustang rival will have the widest ever range of customisations available.
Camaro Red Accent, shown as a SS convertible, has Switchblade silver metallic paint with red styling highlights and Adrenaline Red leather-trimmed interior. There is a deeper front bumper, red accents over the front wheel aches, and 20-inch five-spoke alloy wheels.
The SS coupe Black Accent has an even more aggressive look with red paintwork, black rally stripes, darkened taillights and 20-inch low-black gloss alloys. The car gets lowered suspension, Brembo front brakes and red callipers. Black leather trim lines the interior, with SS-logo car mats, a suede console with Chevrolet Performance logos and red stitching.
The cars will line up alongside 20 other Chevrolet vehicles at the Las Vegas-based SEMA show.
